Following the “adult” KROSS Hexagon models, we created the KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 SR. It is a recreational children’s mountain bike, which will be perfect both when traveling to school and during weekend family trips outside the city. KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 SR is an adult technical solution closed in a smaller frame, adapted to children’s height.
The KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 SR version for 2021 has undergone delicate changes to make it even more accessible to children. This year, the drive is made of high-quality components by Sunrace, enabling the child to ride comfortably in all conditions. It is also a number of smaller modifications to the frame structure, seemingly invisible at first glance, but significantly improving driving comfort.
The KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 SR equipment is based on the 1×8 drive concept. To create such a drive, we used high-quality Sunrace components . This allowed us to create a drivetrain with an eight- speed cassette powered by a Sunrace RDXM41 rear derailleur . A drive designed in this way will allow the child to ride comfortably in any terrain. Sunrace DLM503 shifters have been adapted to children’s hands, allowing for their easy operation. The bike uses a suspension fork with 50 mm travel to increase travel comfort. It has been specially developed for this bike. KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 SR are 24 “wheels with high quality Mitas Scylla V75 tires, 1.9″ wide.that will ensure predictable bike behavior both in the city and in the field. They are also v-brakes, ensuring safe braking and trouble-free operation.
The KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 SR frame is made of performance aluminum . This special 6061 aluminum alloy makes the bike stiff and durable. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many cyclists with its properties. To make it easier for your child to get on and off the bike, we have designed a lowered frame height. In addition, the frame is powder coated, which translates into durability of painting and its resistance to mechanical damage.
